This piece was created after a full, joy-filled day spent touring local gardens with a dear friend. We wandered, admired, laughed, and soaked in the generous beauty that others had planted and tended so lovingly. I left that day feeling full — not just from the flowers, but from the shared experience of it all.
In this painting, I brought together two different gardens and merged them into one. Just like friendship, it became something richer when woven together.
The overflowing blooms, the bright greens, and the bold red planter speak to the kind of beauty that doesn’t hold back. It’s abundant. It’s welcoming. It says, “Come in. Sit awhile. There’s enough here for you too.”
My Garden Is Your Garden is about sharing what we’ve been given — joy, color, encouragement, friendship. It’s a reminder that beauty grows even stronger when it’s offered freely.
