While the mountains often take our breath away with their towering strength, it was the valley that quietly captured my heart.
These wildflowers were growing in a valley in Wyoming, near the Grand Tetons — bursting with color, layered in texture, dancing in the open air. It reminded me that while we often focus on the highest peaks, the valleys hold their own kind of beauty… sometimes even more intimate, more surprising.
Just like in life.
There are seasons when we stand on mountaintops — strong, victorious, full of awe. And there are seasons when we find ourselves in the valley. But the valley is not empty. It’s not forgotten. It’s full of growth, color, and quiet miracles if we slow down enough to see them.
This piece is layered with expressive brushstrokes and vibrant greens, pinks, and golden yellows — capturing that wild, abundant life that grows low and steady beneath towering peaks.
